Kibou is a soft cotton, wool, and silk-blend yarn from Noro that comes in big 100 gram skeins with generous 295 yards of yarn. Kibou works up at a DK weight with color changes that stripe and has a raw silk-like look. Kibou makes beautiful garments and accessories that wear comfortably next to the skin. We have used this yarn for light tops, scarves, cowls, shawls, blankets, and mitts.
A review of Noro Kibou on Ravelry: "It’s one of my favorites, soft, warm and light. It is Noro, so yes it has a rustic, slubby texture, I had no issues with breakage. The color blending is divine. I have machine washed and dried items knit with this yarn with no noticeable shrinkage, just a subtle tightening up."
